Alright eds jus wondering you said Chelsea are fine money wise to make signings as they've spent no money due to there ban, but we've only basically nothing for two years ourselves, please don't shout at me lad if I've missed something obvious.

{Ed002's Note - That is not what I said.}

Transfers aren't paid up front Jay. We've spread the costs of Virgil (70m), Alisson (60m), Fabinho (40m), Keita (60m), Chamberlain (35m) etc across a longer time frame to make it more affordable. People seen to forget we spent nearly 300m (probably more with agent fees on top) in the space of 12 months. It's a lot of money for us.

Also consider the Stadium expansion and the new training ground. Not to mention all the new contracts for the current crop who are now European/ English Champions.

We've built our squad. Klopp should be able to compete for the next 3 years with what he has, and i'm sure we will.

That agent fee level is abysmal. It's actually disgusting. Why is it we have the highest agent fee bill? I'm genuinely confused.

I am sure some of the agent fees have to do with our embarrassing tapping up of players.

OP, transfers are paid in annual installments hence why C. V is affecting clubs like LFC at the moment> The club has installment payments to make on these transfers come this summer. In addition, we have taken out loans for which payments will be coming due and that is just off the top of my head.

A lot of our revenue come from matchday revenue and since C. V happened, we have been bleeding money on a daily basis so now, we have to pay the bills first before anything else hence, we can't just blow money cos the future i so uncertain. Now, we can still do some business provided we can sell the players like Lovs, Shaq etc for the prices we want but that still remains to be seen. This is the situation.
