FSG have backed down from furlouging staff. They have come to the right decision in the end. However this isn't the first time they have reversed a decision, does everyone remember the tickets situation, they made a u turn then also. Clearly they don't know the values of the club and the fans. I for the first time in my life this week have been embarrassed to support liverpool. I never thought I would say that, I hope they have now learned from their mistakes and are going to be the owners we want invest in the best interests of the club. Klopp and the scouts know how to buy and I trust them. Let's hope they get the funds in the summer and we still win it.

Atleast they listened and made the required u turns. What's the problem? It's not embarrassing at all. It would've been if they didn't listen. We all make mistakes but because its a football club it's different and we hang them out to dry? come off it.

It was embarrassing, Salah. No getting away from that. And it's not the first time our owners have made a PR gaffe. Like you say, they did the right thing by making a u turn, but it was embarassing for 24 hours.

Tony Evans’ article on the matter in yesterday’s Independent was scathing.
The most surprising thing for me is that Peter Moore is from the city and I’d have thought if anyone would have been aware of how this was perceived it would have been him?

Juicer, what if Peter Moore is a "yes" man who was employed by pragmatists? I'd say don't expect too much from him so you're not too disappointed. I don't conflate past missteps with this most humanitarian one, but at least we can live with the shame of a mistake that only lasted a few days rather than what the other big premier league teams have done insisting on their decision and ignoring pleas from their fans.

Agreed Noski. It was put right, that’s the main thing. I don’t know about Peter Moore at all but I’d have thought he’d have seen the flak coming?
