Cheers ed. Regarding the US camp in Qatar could the current situation in that area affect the World Cup at all? What with it being just across the gulf from Iran would FIFA have concerns and a contingency in place?

Maybe a silly question as I'm sure if a world war broke out a few football matches would be the least of worries! But just curious how it could affect it.

If things get worse, I doubt there would be a World Cup on account of people being killed all over the planet.
