Ed's, who recommended or pushed for Robertson's signing? Was it Klopp, a scout, The Brain?
Can't believe the progression the guy has made. Today he was unbeatable in 1v1, same he's been outstanding all season.

Just would like to know where credit is due for seeing the potential as he was a liability having little experience before joining. Or maybe I remember incorrectly and he did show great potential before signing?

Bad result tonight, but we have played smartly and we were very close. The game shifted by some details, overall to me: we were the more composed team, setting the tempo on the game (without necessarily having the possession) . When we saw the chance to attack we were very close. City had many chances but took them lot more work to get there.

This team serms mentally strong. Something LFC did not have for a long time. Exciting times to enjoy being LFC fan.

{Ed001's Note - it would have to have been more than 1 person. A scout (or more) would have recommended him initially, then he would have been scouted repeatedly. The data analysts would have looked at his data and also recommended him. Then it would be up to Klopp to make the final call.}

Good to see your positive vibe IhShinron. Couldn't agree more that it was just a few details between us and them but they deserved it as they took their chances. Klopp is to be creditted so far for me as regarding their mental strength. See how they roared back at Arsenal. If there's anything I'm worried about, its how the likes of Lovren and Lallana run their mouths on TV and subsequently fail to run their brain with the ball at their feet on the pitch. I know they can't be banned but these could undermine the sanity Klopp is trying instill in the squad. Other than that, I think these boys deserve credit for what they are doing. I personally think the timing of this slip up was right and now we can get over it at Wolves and regain our groove. Couldn't be more happy to be a fan at a time when Klopp and these players are making us believe again and we have our own fate in our hands. Bring it on!

It was very close - the width of the post and it could have gone either way. We shouldn’t be shocked to be nicked at Man City away either, they are one of the best ever teams to play in the PL and they only just scraped home. The difference being marginal except for perhaps Fernandinho having a stormer and Sane giving Trent and Lovren a tough time.

On to the next one lads, chin up. I still trust in the squad we’ve built and fortress Anfield to bring it home. We should still be very happy to be where we are now, and it was always likely to be a fight to the last few matches with the strength of the league.

I agree we were at least equal or maybe the better team. We almost shut City's attack down. Does anybody remember the games we won last year how much we suffered defensively? Tonight the 1st goal was due to Aguero's brilliance (got to admire this player) and the second was really tight to pull off as well. Apart from that they only had one chance when we were all out in front. We had good chances but we're unlucky. Stones nutmeged Salah with a clearance on the line! That being said Lovren and TAA weren't that good tonight. Not abysmal, not bad, just not so good. I have the impression without looking much into it that city targeted them the whole game. Maybe 70% of their attacks were through our right flank and they pressed every first ball to this side. They just put them on the spotlight and waited.

Tough game, it could go either way. Please stop the hate and support the team. We are 4 points clear, we are in terrific shape.
