One for Ed1 if he's about? Just watching us lately it is obvious we are very easy to break against. Why do you think this is? Watching the game today I feel that Hendo and Can have poor positioning when we are in possession. They both get to close to the opposition box so when we lose it they are too easy to bypass. Added to that the centre back still tend to sit deep so there is a huge gap between the midfield and defence? What are your thoughts and how can it be rectified?

{Ed001's Note - they are getting close to the box to get on the end of things, the issue could be easily rectified by having one sit deeper while the other stays up. Having said that, once they get the hang of it, it could well be that we add more goals than we concede through doing it and so it might turn out to be better to keep both up. Instead hold a full back in place.}

Henderson lacks discipline and intelligence to read the game to sit back and dictate the game. I would playing him higher up the pitch.

Henderson not good enough technically. Been watching him closely lately and the guy does not have the ability to control a game. Just watch when an opposing player is within 10 yards of him he will not turn out and open up the game. Instead he will just play it back to where it came from. He literally plays the way he is facing every time which in turn ends up putting us under unnecessary pressure.

Bench him and strip his captaincy to wake hendo up. He's trying to F the referee abd linesman for every decision against us. I mean once a while if its unfair but he does it everytime and data inviting trouble and setting a bad example.

As I said before - if Sturridge was refusing to play until he was fully fit rather than fight through injury, then looking at how people are treating Hendo it's not hard to see why!

It was Can a while back, now Hendo. For me Hendo is a big part of the excellent team spirit at the moment (along with Kloppo) . He leads by example and bleeds red. He's playing in the double pivot with Emre and doing it well considering he was out for 5 months.

it seems the club captain is not fit for purpose, where is the proof he ca'nt sit deep, he has no discipline etc, a few weeks back it was can that was useless now its Henderson that is getting beaten down, the lack of support for a man who is playing through pain for us is shocking, well he has beaten the boo-boys once, I expect him to beat them again.

KK, give it a rest, mate. These bashers always pick on their fav for that month. It was shako, then Luca, then Can and now Hendo, a man playing with injury and gutting it out for the cause. So much for the "best fans in the world" tag. Some are rank pathetic.

For me it is his technique that is lacking. Just watch him closely next game he plays. He has no confidence in receiving the ball in tight spaces and even when he has got a little space he just plays the way he is facing. For me it is not the latest bashing, I have always felt this way about his cm play. For example yesterday there was a passage of play when he got the ball from the left back and instead of him turning out and opening up the game he just played it straight back to the same player that just gave him the ball which put pressure on the defender as he was getting closed down and we ended up losing the ball. Henderson does this all of the time!
