Any news on a new contract for Henderson?

I wouldn`t b too worried. He`ll get his contract BUT as we all know, these things take time judging by the Sterling contract negotiations

Need to give him a new long term contract right away, best of his type in the premier league and the sort of player every team needs.
At 24, get him signed for 6 years, make him captain and watch Hendo soar !

Is this the same Henderson that so many supposedly fans on here were saying he was a waste of money not so long ago.

So if a player drastically improves, makes a place in the team his own and becomes vice captain and probable next captain, anyone who thought he wasnt good enough when he came isn't allowed to change their opinion!?
