Hi Ed's, what are your thoughts on Musiala at Bayern, looks to have started really well over there, scoring and plenty of assists. Could he be an option if Bellingham is too expensive or wants somewhere else rather than us?

{Ed002's Note - He will not be returning to Chelsea and won’t be a player moving to Liverpool.}

He’s not a centre midfielder and Bayern ain’t selling.

If he wants to test himself in a proper league oh wait the prem is a one team league now also so can’t say that any more? Still though Ed do you ever think any footballers with any talent will be joining Liverpool or are we likely to be doomed to battle for scraps and players nobody wants for eternity? It is quite sad that England’s greatest ever club can’t challenge for the worlds top players why do you think this is? I know Man City offer hookers prostitutes and young women to players that’s move to them. And Chelsea offer lots of money for mostly sitting on benches. Are Klopps wet Willy’s not appealing enough do ya think?

@ScouseNouse - The great Liverpool teams were reliant on spending shed loads of money. The club identified talent, brought the players in and then turned good players into great players and great players into world beaters.

It’s not just about spending money - it’s about spending money on players who have the potential and they don’t all cost pots and pots of money.

Obviously there are clubs about who can afford to waste money and still thrive (like City and the procession of £ 50m + duds, who flatter to deceive and then fade after one good season or less) . There aren’t many of these clubs anyway and I’d have no hesitation in saying that, over a season we are one of the top 3 or 4 sides in Europe. I like our method - success should be earned not bought.

Problem is WDW, Man City, PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, United, Spurs, etc don’t agree and we’re in danger of being left behind by not doing anything.
