Ed, if signed, is it likely that Emre Can is replacement for Lucas. Around £10m; this would be a fairly similar fee we would expect receiving from lucas. Though, Can is a versatile player too.

{Ed002's Note - PSG and Manchester City remain keen on the signing of Miralem Pjanic. Spurs are aware that he could be available at the right price - but that is very high. Manchester United also made an enquiry in the summer, but it went nowhere. Dortmund seem to have dropped their interest. It would take a very significant bid for him to move this summer and I rather think he will stay.}

I want some of your thoughts ed. Does suso feature in Rodgers' long term vision for the first team or is he going to sell him come the summer?

I think what we genuinely lack in midfield is that world class box to box midfielder that can both defend and time his runs forward. Certainly suso would fit the trequartista role.

And I have been disappointed how rodgers have been wasting money on fringe players like borini, aspas etc.
What do you make of joe allen? I have been disappointed by him and the price he was bought at.

Ed, anything on lucas moura?

{Ed002's Note - Moura is looking to return to Sao Paulo on loan and there is a deal being tabled that might well suit all three parties - although PSG are not so sure it will suit them as discussions have dragged on. Juventus has a decalred interest if he becomes available. Inter are fearful of having a difficult window and may look to get an early bid in.}

Ed any truth in Real Madrid's £65m raid for Suarez and Coutinho? Hope there's nothing to it. We do not want to be losing our two best players come january. And if any replacements were to be made, it would take time for the team to gel; look at spurs for instance.

{Ed002's Note - The situation remains unchanged with an expected bid from Real Madrid in January. As I have explained, there is a thought amongst Suarez's people that they may turn elsewhere so they have been doing the rounds (Juve, Bayern, Chelsea, PSG). Largely I suspect that this will continue to run. As for PipCo, I am not aware of any interest from Real Madrid but there is certainly interest from Atletico Madrid. Perhaps whoever reported this mixed the clubs up.}

Ed, reading articles and hearing fans' opinions, it seems like rodgers is not a good admirer as thought of simon mignolet. I really think his one-one is probably the best in the premier league but then he did make a lot of mistakes that resulted into us conceding a lot of goals this season. What do you think?

{Ed001's Note - I believe he is not impressed with Mignolet's distribution under pressure, in particular. Also his ability to organise the defence. Added to that his mistakes when flapping at some crosses and occasional lapses, it is no surprise he is looking elsewhere for a keeper that fits the desired type. If Mignolet had been solid, I am sure his awful distribution would be overlooked and just worked on in the hope of fixing it. Goalkeeper is the most important position on the pitch though, you can't have one there that the defence is not completely confident in.}

ed apparently the betting on salah joining lfc has been suspended? Also rumours on twitter has it that lfc in for seamus coleman; apparently he has a £16m release clause in his contract so if that's matched EFC won't be able to interfere. anything on this?

Nil {Ed002's Note - There is no link between Willian and Suarez. For The money comes from a series of busnesses: laundromats, seamstress consultancies in Seattle, small nightclubs, etc..}
