Hi eds, I heard that Atheltico Madrid forward Diego Costa is very interested to move to Liverpool, and also am I right in thinking that he wanted to move in the summer, to Liverpool, and he wanted to play with Suarez, with Suarez signing a new long-term contract yesterday, will this be a good deal, as FSG are giving Liverpool £50,000,000 t spend on a marquee signing and I think he will be a great addition to our positive looking squad
If the 'marquee' signing isn't going to be Diego Costa, who do you think we should go for? Although the Mohamed Salah deal looks complete, I don't think that he will be a big signing, he looks like a brilliant player, I don't think he will be the 'marquee' signing.
I think we need a midfielder such as Juan Mata or maybe somebody from abroad, such as Ilkay Gundogan, he is a brilliant part of the works of Borussia Dortmund and he might be the one to replace Steven Gerrard, when he retires.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea, Dortmund and Monaco are interested in Costa but there will be concerns over leaving Spain in January. I would not hold your breath of £50M to spend in January, Gundogan or Mata. Salah will be a good signing if it goes ahead.}

Hi Eds, is there anymore rumours about Borussia Monchengladbach player Granit Xhaka, looks like a great player, would fit in LFC's play style very well, hope all is well and Merry Christmas
{Ed002's Note - Xhaka moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach last year although there was interest over the summer from Inter, and Lazio had two offers rejected. Roberto Martinez looked at him as Wigan Manager last year and may well still be interested now he is at Everton. I would not discount both Inter and Milan looking to him at some point. I am not aware of confirmed interest from Liverpool but there would be no chance the player would want to sit on the sidelines waiting for SG to retire as some suggest he should do.}
