I like BR as a coach. He has a good style of football. Speaks well about the city and club
But I have major questions to ask about his player recruitment.
Ive got a list of players he has signed and money he spent
Borini 10m, Allen 15m, Assaidi 3m, Sahin loan, yesil 1m, Sturridge 12m, Coutinho 8m, Teiveira 1m, Alberto 7m, Aspas 7m, Mignolet 9m, Sako 15m, Llori 7m, Lambert 4m, Lallana 25m, Can 10 m, Markovic 20m, Lovern 20m, Origi 10m, Moreno 12m and Balotelli 16m

That's over 200m. Bar 3 r 4 at a push a list of failures. A manager lives and dies by his signings . BR might get to the end of the season but I can see the above list getting him the sack
Whats the opinion of the eds and other Pool fans?

Eds
Can you tell me what has Reina done that is so bad that BR will not even entertain the idea of taken him back to LFC?
When u consider what Suarez has done in trying push through a move to Arsenal biting and the racist scandal and yet everything was done to hold onto him.
Like many I would of tought Reina was our best keeper and now he seems to have gone to a club excepting to be second choice. I would of liked to see him stay and fight for our no 1 spot
Can you enlighten me please?

Hi eds

From reading this site and all the eds responses it looks like our transfer business is far from done. It also seems like we still have quite a few outgoing transfers to complete Borini Reina Assaidi Agger Coates Lucas and a few possible loans too.
My question is this BR has said he needs to increase the size of the squad to compete in all competitions.
Do you think if all the players above do move on we would have to bring in new players to fill the gaps in the squad that would leave. Then to actually increase the squad extra players would have to be brought in as well?
I think this sounds excessive to me. we already have brought in 4 players. The above mentioned players would require a further 6 players and to increase the squad you could be looking at a further 2 or 3 more. Can you see a transfer window with lfc bringing in possibly 12 new players? And while that makes it exciting for us fans do you think it would be possible to make them all gel to challenge for titles.
Thanks for the hard work out in by you all and I look forward to your response and views on my post

{Ed002's Note - There is a limit on squad size. Three of the players you mention were not part of the squad. One didn't play last season and Liverpool is overloaded with centre backs.}

Can I make a point with regards to losing Suarez for all to take on board.
Liverpool have lost a great player in Suarez and we can all get caught up in how are we going to replace him and his goals.
Suarez scored 31goals for us last season, so here is what we need to do
We conceded 50 goals last term so if we can reduce that by 15 goals and the players brought in score 15 goals our goal difference does not change and there is no impact from Suarez depature. This is achievable and we will be fine.
Can the eds comment on my theory

Must disagree with eds2 on this. We have just signed a £300m new balance deal and tv money is to increase greatly next season. Gerrard will be off thd wage bill as will JohnstonBorini and 2 or 3 more players will be sold so sterling will not have to be sold tofund any transfer

{Ed002's Note - The shirt deal is spread over 6 years. There is no greatly increased television money next season. Liverpool has been losing money for years and have vast debts that need to be serviced. Liverpool are already in enough trouble with FFP. This is why we don't discuss money.}
