Not wanting to fall into motd fever but have any clubs showed strong interest in Lallana? Undoubtedly a very good player and personally I think would be a solid addition to the Liverpool team and would give us another tricky midfielder ala coutinho. Personally I would be very pleased if this came to fruition but feel that perhaps we should look to be signing a powerful midfielder who is good on the ball as Gerrard isn't able to influence games against the top sides like he used to. Cheers for any info eds as ever {Ed001's Note - plenty have throughout his career, but they are not looking to sell and so far he has shown no interest in leaving. I remember we showed interest in him and Schneiderlin, back when Southampton were in League 1 and they refused to consider offers. We tried again when they were in the Championship, again they wouldn't listen to offers for either. I don't see why they would consider them now they are pushing for a European place.}

With Athleticos interest in Coutinho how likely is it that he will leave? With Suarez going possibly in january it would be a huge blow to lose Coutinho also just when we seem to making progress. I appreciate its a very hard to say anything for certain but any news would be great {Ed002's Note - I don't expect him to leave in January.}

To anyone who has any info how has Ryan Mclaughlin been progressing/how do the club see him developing. I've always been confident that he will become an unbelievable player and would love to see him given a couple of chances next season especially in pre season and early cup matches. I think we've seen with Flanno the importance of game time seeing as the club were looking to loan him out and now people were upset he wasn't called up to the national squad. So yeah any information on Ryan at all would be appreciated.

I was just thinking that the club refusing to pay the extra £3m for Willian reminds me of the Dempsey situation last year. When you consider the far larger sum of money we were offering for Willian against Dempsey then surely an extra £3m for a player who wanted to sign for us over Spurs is not too bad. Fair enough if an extra £3m would be doubling a player's valuation but it was only a tenth of what was being asked. If there are other circumstances which meant the transfer fell through then fine but I just thought I'd raise the point and see how people felt.

Are we still looking for a creative attacking midfielder as I think that we are lacking there other than coutinho. With Suarez likely going we have very little creativity which worries me. We seem to be chasing a left back which I think is unnecessary as johnson can cover there effectively and we have Kelly back which I think will make a huge difference. Just my thoughts and would appreciate those of the eds
