Milner was a Liverpool fan as a boy. Although he signed for leeds as a youngster he supported lfc.

well I am probably one of the few people who is delighted with this announcement. Gerrard has been a toxic influence in the dressing room this season which is what set sterling off. I think we will get some good additions this summer and get champions league qualification. I think Rodgers will get one more season and if this is what he achieves he will stay, if not he will be on his way but I do think he will get a full season and not go in December,

Ok a lot of people on here dissing Milner well I have played footy with the lad on more then one occasion and all I can say is the lad is a first rate class footballer. He has quick feet and was mentored by joe hart when he was at leeds. I would love to see him in a red shirt he would be an excellent signing for us he is a player who can change a game. Has good tactical awareness. The beauty of getting him although he is 28 he hasn't played much football recently at City and he hasn't any injury issues. If we get him, you'll see what I'm telling you!

i think you will find dalgiesh spotted Suarez whilst commentating and bought him. Rodgers claimed it was him but was taking credit for something he didn't do.
