Just heard a filthy rumour, Chelsea interested in taking Suarez to Chelsea after giving up on Rooney and in return they will offer Liverpool Juan Mata and Fernando Torres plus cash? Sounds like a load of bull###t to me but the Mata to Liverpool rumour came from Mirror & Chelsea journalist Martin Lipton - happy typing EDS fab job by the way!

Thanks Eds for keeping this site going my previous post seems to have disappeared before I finished it but just wanted to praise the boys for giving it a mammoth go and trying to do in style. I believe it was One defeat, Three Draws and Fifteen wins in the last 19 matches and it still wasn't quite enough this season! I would take that form every year and every second half of the season! Fantastic effort from Brendan, Stevie and the team and congrats to all the players and backroom staff! Well done to Man City I suppose and we will just have to keep on believing! Great work EDS and big appreciation for all the time and effort you guys put in to the site! LFC forever YNWA

Much was said and many hopes dented today but we are only bruised and not beaten, in such times it is difficult to offer congrats to the many rich blue's fans with the spoilt one in charge but they had a game-plan and I am afraid it worked in the worst possible way! I knew the game would be intense today but I never believed we would lose the match! Many of our boys were apprehensive and out of sorts but they did feel the pressure today and Moron-io out witted everyone once more! I write this as City are once again made the bookies favourites and are currently cruising 0-2 but despite the disappointment we will definitely have one more chance to put it to bed and if not then I must congratulate the whole team and Brendan for getting us this opportunity 11 winning games and unbeaten for 16 in the league until today at this point of the season and one defeat and we are no longer favourites to take the title. That tells you just how difficult it is to win nowadays! Money goes to money as we all know but we have shown the passion, spirit and still played breath-taking football this season with a team/group of players that even I doubted! Still in front and just need another wind to get us over the line! Keep believing Reds we are still top tonight and still have a few punches left! YNWA

Good morning Eds and best wishes to all my fellow Reds! What a massive day it is for us all today! The result this afternoon will just nail home what we have all wanted to believe and have witnessed in the positive transformation of our club in such a significant year! Brendan Rodgers and his team have brought back the drive, playing style and belief to our club that had been missing for a long time now! Hopefully in the next two weeks this will also bring a much deserved and missing Premier League title back to Anfield and well before any of us thought it was even possible! Our role today is to help push the boys over the next hurdle and give them the voice, confidence and the support that we have all contributed so far this season, particularly today when the doubt creeps in against Chelsea or when lady luck goes the other way as it so often does in these tense matches! Mourinho has shown so often this season and throughout his career that he lacks empathy, humility and class when under pressure and unlike one of his mentors in the great Sir Bobby Robson who was a gentleman until the end! He will set his team up to be physical, defend from the outset and look to get us embroiled in a stop start wrestling match with intimidation, diving and complaining and will target Sterling and Luis in the process he will gesticulating as a conductor from the touchline to influence the referee but it will all be in vain. BR undoubtedly learnt much from Mourinho but gladly has his own positive football philosophy and all out attacking playing style and individual confidence to overwhelm the financially complacent West end bully boys and take the three points and this in turn will break City's hearts down at Palace! We have the right to dream, we have the faith to believe and we have the passion to come out victorious, onwards and forwards YNWA

And so it began as the ferocious intent of the Mighty Red Army gathered pace, their chests out and their lungs full, eyes bristling with focus, hearts filled with courage, pride and belief and with mesmerising speed they tore down the United flanks! Time after time they breached the hapless Devils defence in energetic and relentless waves. Their confidence in full view with every run, every pass and every move whilst their enemy stood back in confused disbelief, then the breakthrough a move culminating from a simple ball into the box and the inevitable and sly purposeful hand from the baby elzebub pushing the ball away illegally from the marauding genius Luis. Silence deafened the turf inside the stadium of nightmares as if Coward Webb was once gain about to appear and with extreme obvious bias to spoil the beginning of the end! But today smelled different from the outset and indeed it felt different and that was because a new mediator was about to come to the fore, a new and articulate MC and unbelievably a fair referee. That man was no other than Mark Clattenburg who without hesitation or fear of being harassed or indeed bullied by the old UTD hierarchy gave with genuine honesty the blatant penalty!. Through the drama filled crowds one name was chanted and continuously shouted out, that name was not just heard on the pitch but echoed out in every red living room across the planet - louder and louder they all chanted Gerrard! Gerrard! Gerrard! Steven Gerrard was that man, he was our leader, our home grown general and the heartbeat of our Red machine - powerful, purposeful, composed and considered. With experienced and professional poise he stepped up to mark and took centre stage against the tall over-confident keeper. Then with exquisite accuracy he despatched the ball effortlessly inside the right hand post giving the young pretender no hope and with raised celebratory hands his army of Red Supporters renewed belief. The teams elation was overwhelming as they celebrated the goal with their captain in a joyous and rapturous hug!. Such togetherness and honesty was obvious to any Red as the Rhapsodic spirit in me took over! The timing of the goal could not have come at a better time for the script as the Devils fire began to flicker and fade and the Red Army continued to press home their advantage before half-time! As the nerves turned into adrenalin and the realism starting to hit many the beer cups were re-filled and all that remained of the break was a few crumbs before the 2nd half started! United fans tried hard to lift their shambolic, dis-jointed over achievers as the game got underway but The Reds were having none of it as the imperious Joe Allen connected with a superb ball from Henderson in the penalty area only to be shoved clumsily to the floor by the dangerous liability that was Phil Jones! Once again silence fell as in anticipation the visiting supporters held their breath - but there was no such concerns as the authoritative Clattenburg signalled for a second pen! Surely now the long running battle with the Devil was going to swing back in the favour of the gods! And so it was up stepped Gerrard and with consummate ease he stroked in Liverpool's second! If the season was a painting then today was the day that the artist BR sketched out his characters on to the canvas and added the colour to his masterpiece! With Moyes in turmoil and Utd in disarray LFC were awarded a generous third penalty only this time Gerrard struck the upright in his attempt to add yet more gloss to his historical artwork! Disappointment was shortlived as chance after chance fell away and then Super Suarez delicately chipped in a fortunate but well deserved third goal! What a statement! What a Result! and What a future! 0-3 to the boys and the dream of a title gathering pace. Better still The devil brought to his knees in front of several thousand gargoyles and goblins and the fading legacy already in tatters. Today was historical, today was mesmerising, today was the new tomorrow!

We must now believe EDS - collective hope and enthusiasm will only help us to keep this going! Let us make sure we maintain the positivity!!

To all my Red brothers in arms - today's the day when we stand toe to toe with our 2014 destiny, today is when we stand up in lions den and slay the beast - the beast that hunted us down and stole our ground, the beast that tried to rip up our history and devour our greatness! No more self pity or wound licking for today we keep moving, pressing forward, standing together and taking the hunt to the enemy! Press on the Reds and slay the devils, show no mercy as weakness, meekness and sorrow comes from letting the beast live! No today we take the battle forward and splatter the arena with our colours and our beliefs and show the faceless the real art of war and the way to announce the change in power - no more after today will we be struggling or out of breath, for today we cheer and tomorrow we reign and in the future we will rise again with an announcement of power, victory and realistic hope! This is not a dream, this is a legacy and a way of life! So today we will Live and from now on we will conquer! We are Liverpool the greatest, the mightiest and the most beautiful! LFC is Back! Believe it! Live It! and enjoy it!
