Shame to see Downing go, but as he said it happened very quickly. Therefore, with JW Henry saying Liverpool FC don't have enough time to sign a replacement for Luis Suarez, its clearly garbage being spouted from our owners mouth!
Players such as Downing, Reina and Carroll are being sold / loaned to reduce the wage bill for players who would sit on the bench which is fine, but we need to then strengthen the first team.
So with your insight and forget about who the papers and media are telling us, who are the real targets for LFC.
