Hi Eds - long time admirer of the site, first time poster. Reading through it appears that the only players we have shown real concrete interest in are Konop, Rojo, Firmino, Bertrand, Parejo and Fischer . With champions league imminent we should be looking to improve our first team as well as the squad and all these players represent squad players who are not any better than what we currently have. Of course they are all young and can improve ( especially Fischer and Firmino who look like future stars ) but surely to keep Suarez et al at the club for many season we will need to make a marquee signing to show them that we are here to stay at the top of the league for years to come ( hopefully). I was wondering who this potential marquee signing may be? Or is the money just simply not there to get a £20-30 million in for next season?

{Ed002's Note - Firmino is no longer an option. I have no idea what constitutes a "marquee" signing and if the only purpose of such a signing is to keep Suarez happy, then the club is pretty pitiful.}
