We are so inept at buying players, why would the summer be any different? We always go for players that either we can't afford, don't want to come to us, have a complicated ownership. We identify the player then offer half the value and get trumped. Unbelievable. Every window. I hear it's fine this time round as sterling is playing well, a dip in form or injury and we are struggling as we don't have a winger except an untried Jordan Ibe. We were crying out for a midfielder as well. Why we didn't go for a defensive midfielder is beyond me. Lucas out for 8 weeks and Allen always injured, we have to play with what we have got now. Don't get me started on the full backs. Didn't need to spend big, loans or older players as a stop gap to help get the holy grail of top 4. Very disappointed.
