According to BBC sport Captain Adam Lallana tells Southampton he wants to be allowed to leave St Mary's when he returns from the World Cup. I hope that's a good sign. Any updates on that eds?
{Ed002's Note - It is of no relevance until Liverpool match the fee being asked by Southampton or make an acceptable bid. I guess Liverpool could give him a bigger signing on fee to compensate his loss.}

Hi eds, I hope you're (all) well. Just reading some of the reports and a couple of names spring to mind:
Andre Ayew says he wants a move to Liverpool according to French newspaper L'Equipe.
And perhaps more importantly Falcao according to Italian journalist Mina Rzouki.
Seems out of the blue, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this (both eds and reds). Thanks in advance!

According to Ben Smith of BBC Sport Lambert has passed his medical at Liverpool and the clubs have agreed a fee of about £4m plus add-ons.
Now let's hope Lallana will soon follow!

Hi eds, great job as always
This is more of a question that I have been keen to ask for a while now. I know Twitter is probably a pet-hate of yours (and mine) but are there any reliable sources (other than this wonderful website). Because reading the papers etc. just seems to either be recycled stories or just plucking a names and clubs out of a hat. Are there any reliable sources?

According to Ben Smith of a web site Liverpool hope to complete the signings of Paris St Germain defender Mamadou Sakho and Sporting Lisbon youngster Tiago Ilori before Sunday's match with Manchester United.
The Anfield club are in talks with both clubs and hope to reach an agreement on the respective deals over the weekend.
The 23-year-old Sakho, who can play as a centre back and on the left, has played 14 times for France and is likely to cost around £13m while Ilori, 20, is one of the most promising young defenders in Portugal. Both players are expected on Merseyside for medicals and further talks in the next 24 hours.
