A question for Ed002. You appear to be extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the business of transfers and you also have an unbelievable understanding of how the system works.

I am just curious to know if you at one point in time worked for a high profile football organisation? Or, if in fact, you still do? Just a question, would like to know but if it's too personal I understand. Thank you in advance.

Hey there eds and reds,
With the imminent departure of count suarez, I think people who are concerned about we lose from the team should consider the following. While I know suarez is a genius and probably one of the best footballers (minus the antics) to play in a red shirt, there were times this season when we seemed over reliant on him.

When you have a player like that in your team, it tends to happen. So when suarez had a bad game, things didn't quite work, especially towards the end of the season. I have a feeling that suarez' departure could unify the team and we could see a more all round team performance. I believe that we'll most definitely cope without him and will surprise many people with how well we will cope.

On a side note, if I were to choose a player to add to our attack, it would most definitely be muller. He's young, a trojan worker, knows how to finish, how to pick out a pass and is highly underrated for some reason. Eds, would there be any chance we could lure him.away from bayern?

For anyone who had any doubt, see the animated gif below. I'm just so disappointed in him, I really thought he had turned a corner.

First time poster, but have been visiting the site daily for a number of years. In relation to lallana, we as supporters must be patient and trust that Brendan and co know what they are doing. I have a feeling that lallana is his top target and may pay Southamptons valuation. However, I am sure he has other targets and is actively working on these targets. A lot has been learned in the last two windows and I can't forsee the transfer committee putting all their eggs in one basket. So just sit back, relax and enjoy the mayhem that is the transfer window and please refrain from asking the same questions over and over, you'll give the poor eds a coronary. PS eds, great and tireless work, keep it up.
