Hi eds, I read on the site a few days ago that Liverpool decided to open discussions with barca and that suarez will be happy to go. Do we know if suarez going to barca is a result of him telling the club he wants to go initially? Thanks andy

Hi eds, with the summer we had last year with suarez wanting to leave I read a lot about Gerrard speaking to him to all the time. I remember Gerrard saying he told suarez not to go to arsenal and hold out for a move to barca or Madrid in a few years time. I was wondering does anyone know how Gerrard or any of the players feels about what's going on now. Ta andy

{Ed001's Note - I am quite sure they all expected it mate, but it is not something I have asked about, sorry.}

Hi eds, it has been mentioned that we are building up debt at the moment.I was just wondering what the reasons behind this are and are other clubs losing money. when fsg took over I thought the debt was reduced a lot. I would have thought that our income from merchandise and the large fan base would be a benefit to us in terms of balancing the books. Is our wage bill too much for our income? I would have thought that our wage bill would be comparable with other teams around us? Thanks for any info.

{Ed002's Note - The reasons are the club has been hemorrhaging money the owners cannot afford to lose. This is nothing to do with the original debt. Mercandise money generally goes to Warrior.}

We are beaten to the signing of another player just because we are not prepared to spend a few million quid more. If we had stopped trying to haggle salah could have been signed by now as he wanted to come to us and Chelsea wouldn't have had the opportunity to sign him. We seem to get the players no else is bidding for, if we hadn't of signed aspas we could have used that money for salah and stopped messing about. This is why we will never truly compete again at the very top.

{Ed001's Note - you do know Chelsea were also interested in Aspas don't you?}

Hi eds, I read in the book of the old chief accountant that we had agreed a deal to buy John terry before RA bought Chelsea and they were saved from administration. Do you know of other players that we were on the verge of signing that fines would be surprised to hear about? {Ed002's Note - I am sorry I don't.}
