Hi Eds, do you know if Liverpool or any other clubs have an interest in Howedes of Schalke? think he may be a good option for us but no CL could be an issue.

Eds and reds!
Great advert for english football last night, just can't stand some of these 'fans' for having a go at Luis Alberto. Really?! For his first game at anfield against a physical team I thought he did very well, nice neat touches, quick simple passes (the ball to allen which bypassed the county midfield and lead to studgeys goal), good pressing up the pitch. However, I expected allen to express himself a bit in this game as it was the perfect opportunity for him to dictate the tempo as well as get forward but credit to the notts county midfield for closing down the ball especially in the 2nd half. All in all, another game another win, unfortunate injuries and clear to see we need to shore up the defence a bit (the marking for the first goal was a calamity).

After the stoke game and calming down after that great double save from Mignolet, I can see us conceding quite a few goals from set pieces and corners in particular. Think we need to add some defensive coaches in, I mean a stoke player got his head onto almost every corner. Overall though I think we now have the firepower up front to get goals on a consistent basis, just have a feeling we may get sucker punched in games we're dominating through our defensive frailties.

Hi Eds, great site and appreciate your efforts to provide us with information. Just a thought, with us apparently nearing a deal for Siqueira and a loan for cissokho, could siqueira actually be utilised as a winger who would provide a sense of balance in our shape. Similar to how downing did but with a bit more flair and defensive capability? Can't wait for saturday 12.45, need to get the points in early! {Ed002's Note - I really don't know.}
