Greetings all, Arsenal fan in peace.

I was hoping to track down Ed002 to ask him his thoughts on something, as he was sadly forced to leave our page because of a minority of imbeciles.

Ed002, If you or anyone else has any information or good sources that show how different clubs finance their activity that would be awesome. I'm curious about how Arsenal differ from clubs like United, Real Madrid and Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern etc. and which teams have the most question marks around them when it comes to corruption and shady business in football.

Controversial I know lol, but you are the best person I could think of to ask, I always like reading your opinions.

Have a great day!
Trinidad-Gooner {Ed002's Note - I am travelling right now but the high-profile clubs are heavily regulated now and what might have been shady practices in certain European countries (I guess particularly Italy) will largely have been removed from the sport. As for the finances of the clubs, probably "Deloitte's Football Money League" gives simple view on the subject of where the income comes from and, to some extent where it goes. The trouble is that looking at specifics you will not sensibly be able to compare like-for-like across borders (e.g. television money is significantly higher in the UK than elsewhere; distribution of TV money in Spain is far from balanced; some countries allow alcohol and tobacco advertising; some countries allow part ownership of players so transfer fees are less; some countries have home grown exemptions for players from Africa and elsewhere; some countries have restrictions on club ownership .... I could go on.}
