The manager, coaches, transfer committee, player, players agents have all come under extereme scrutiny during the recent months. Words like charlatan, hoodwinker,
dissembler have been associated with the manager at every other post. Players have been branded as deadwoods, disloyal and greedy. Coaches have been labeled inept and
lackey. But it seems that the owners are exempt from this fiasco just because they bought the club at a difficult time.
The manager is denounced day in day out because he keeps on playing underperforming players, because he failed to sign top quality replacements when they were
available, because he alienates the players forcing them to leave the club but when the owners are doing the exact same thing as the manager no one bats an eye. Are
the owners not sticking with an underperforming manager? Did they not fail to replace rodgers when top pedigree managers like klopp or ancelotti were available. Are
they not alienating rodgers by sacking his assistant and coaches?
As Ed002 has suggested the club is losing massive amount of money and we will fail FFP if we keep spending recklessly but despite this the owners seem not bothered by
the way the manager keeps buying players and not playing them at all before shipping them out for penauts. There is news coming out every week that the club behaved
unprofessionally with a player, the club behaved unprofessionally with another club, other clubs are not willing to do deals with us any more etc. Why are these things
happening? Is this because the owners are sure to make a profit when they sell the club once the new tv deal comes in place next year and they don't care what happens
to the club after they leave? Why the manager gets blamed for everything while the owners have not done a single thing right (except may be expand the stadium) since
buying the club?

Here we go again. The abuse parade on FSG comes back.
Y on earth would Carlo and Klopp join Liverpool FC?
Is it because the last successful appearance in CL were some 7 years back? Or the last league title happened some 25 years back?

Most of the posters and his dog abused the manager for failing to sign top players like sachez and reus but hey only managers care about recent success right.

I don't know what you've been reading, but the owners get plenty of stick here too.

If it were Mourinho or someone of that ilk it would be bad enough but when the likes Alan Pardew and Sam Allardyce can blatantly claim they know how you are going to play, what are your weaknesses and how to outfox you before the match has even started, and you still play the same way and to add insult to the injury get outfoxed then you have to assume something is very wrong and things need to change quickly. If you cannot correct something that even the opposition dare to point out publicly then you are not good enough. We all know what happens when idealism is taken too far.

This lad jordan rossiter for a 17 year old lad he has a brain of a 32 year old. His positional sense and the awareness of the game is exceptional, and the calmness and leadership ability just fantastic. Sky's the limit for this lad

Anybody else feel that we are playing way too many preseason friendlies? I am just worried that the players might feel a little jaded towards the business end of the season. I think 5 games would have been enough.

In my opinion if borini were to leave us it would benefit all parties involved. Sunderland will have a decent player in their ranks, borini will be playing week in week out at a club where he is wanted and we get a decent amount of money. If he wants to prove himself that's fine by me, but we as a club need to do what's best for us.

I don't post as much but been here long enough to remember a certain chap that called himself jonson6. I wonder what happened to him. Do you remember him ed001?
{Ed001's Note - I do remember him, I wonder what happened to him?}

So do you want gerrard to come out and say he is not good enough to play for the first team and lucas should be played instead of him? I fail to see what the fuss is all about suso and lucas that majority of the posters are drooling over in recent months. They are both average at best.
{Ed001's Note - no they are not. I guess Lucas will never win over people like you, I don't blame the lad for wanting to leave. The defence has suddenly stopped conceding ludicrous amounts of goals due to him getting back in the team yet still you call him average at best. You will never make a scout with that lack of insight.}
