Thanks for the reply ed! You are right, but in how many of those games did he almost make costly mistakes. His handling just isn't good, looks like a 15 year old fumbling his first bra!
If tomorrow we lost mignolet for the season, would you really be happy with Jones?. because it could happen. I'm pretty sure BR would be straight out into the market to replace him.
Anyway I just wanted to get a discussion going over over something other than Suarez's wistful gazes over the MCG pitch. Thanks for your views. {Ed052's Note - I trust Jones enough, yes}

We gots to get us a quality back up keeper. Jones is a top guy but an awful goalie. His handling is poor and his confidence always looks so low. (didn't see the game today but am basing this on all his previous performances). I was excited at the prospect of Pepe and Simon pushing for the spot but hey-ho. An older signing along the lines of Freidel or Schwarzer is what we need - reliable but not demanding of first team action. Is Given available? Any other suggestions?
