I kind of hope we don't sign Shaqiri.
He's like a stroppy toddler on steroids.

Bit dissapointed with BR, I think it was a bit rash to throw Flannagan into that game and he set him up to fail really. To be fair, he didn't do too badly and put in the effort, but then being taken off at half-time must've crushed him a bit. Good to see Coutinho back, even though his passing radar was a bit off he was the only one who consistently got through their midfield. I like Henderson, he's like an eager, energetic puppy who would happily chase sticks all day. If he could just learn to calm it and compose himself in front of goal he could be a good player.

It's very entertaining reading on the Manchester United page at the moment. All desperately trying to convince themselves that Fellaini is a great player.
Imagine shrek and Screech in the same team - scary!

I actually thought that Glen johnson had a really good game today, lots of threat and penetration. Although I'm not quite sure which position he was playing in - about five different ones I think. Having Toure in the defence is very comforting, he really does read the game well and deals calmly. Agger was a bit iffy but is taking a bit too much stick from people. He'll play better than that. Enrique was his usual self - occasionally world class, occasionally clumsy and ineffective. The midfield were all excellent, although Sterling frustrates - when he comes on late against a tiring defence I want to see him knock the ball past the defender and do him for pace, but he's always hesitant. Stoke are a tough nut to crack but we cut them open several times and perhaps should have stuck a couple more away. The best thing for me was that there was a very deliberate and effective style of play on show, the one you could see starting to appear in the second half of last season. Anyone could see how far the system has come from the start of last season. Very encouraging.
