I find it astonishing that after circa £120m spent over the summer, we bring on Borini and Lambert to try and change the game for us yesterday. .

I understand that Balotelli isn't in many people's good books at present but I find the BBC's coverage extremely unfair and slightly disrespectful.
He was hardly to blame for last night's performance, yet the BBC now have a video, a feature article and a Balotelli snakes and ladders game on their website!
What does everyone else think?

To try and add some positivity to the site today, we could be 4th in the league come the end of the weekend if results go our way.
I know football doesn't work like that though, especially with LFC.
BTW, I would be happy to go out of the CL early, if we could guarantee a top 4 place come the end of the season.

I agree EMS.
Do you guys not think fans have slightly too higher expectations for youth players coming through though?
Anyone remember Lauri Dalla Valle? How about Dani Pacheco? Connor Coady? etc.
At one point these three amongst many others were to believed to be future LFC stars and are now not even playing top flight football.
I understand and appreciate that LFC's policy regarding the development of youth prospects is dire and this has contributed to a lot of wasted academy talent but I just sometimes think fans get all too excited about youth prospects and their potential and the reality is that only a few will succeed.
