I've seen a lot of stories that Salah is "99% sure to be joining Liverpool, " including a video of one of his friends and former team-mates saying that it would happen on Arabic TV. What's your opinion Eds? I know you've said that there's interest in him, but are we really that close? Any info would be appreciated!

{Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware nothing is done or settled. But, he, so I am told, is keen to join Liverpool, if we do agree a deal with his club. Apparently, we are his first choice. But then Turan would have chosen us over everyone and anyone and we showed plentiful interest and never signed him. So it is by no means 99% certain.}

Hi Eds, after yet ANOTHER failed attempt at signing an attacking player in Salah (after Willian, Costa and Mkhitaryan), could you say who is in charge of negotiating these deals? I'm under the assumption that it's Ian Ayre, and if that's the case then he needs to go because this is beginning to happen far too often.

eds, just a quick question, we've recently been linked with Willian, and although I very much doubt that we are in fact going to try and sign him, what I noticed was that in most of the reports, they mention that the owners are willing to put in the money for a marquee signing, so basically I was wondering if there's any truth to those reports whatsoever? Do you think that FSG may actually fund a big money signing? {Ed002's Note - I have explained that the owners will fund the right purchase at the right price.}
