Well lads, Just want to give my thoughts on the Lucas debate. For me, the stats don't lie, we concede less when he is in the team. Iv always thought Lucas tried his best to connect with the fans and has always given his all. Would love to see him stay and perhaps finally get some appreciation from the fans. Nonzy.
1.) Vice Captain for me if he stays, such an under-appreciated player

I was not aware BR does not always have final say and has in some cases been landed with players he has not identified or wanted himself. I find this infuriating! Surely the manager should be given full trust and be aloud to build a team he wants to play to his phelosophy? Personally think this is outrageous. In Rodgers we trust.
{Ed002's Note - Rodgers left to his own devices did a dreadful job of buying players - Aspas, Alberto, Ilori, Borini .... the list goes on. This is why the transfer committee exists at Liverpool.}

If we do sign Balotelli, it will be crucial that he presses the opposition. I question whether he will do this, I myself play an Irish sport (Gaelic Football) and it is infuriating when just one person on your team isn't giving 100% to cause a turnover. If he doesn't work it could lead to friction within the team. However if BR thinks he can tame him I will support him, the lad has serious ability. Nonzy

Is Enrique fit? I would myself prefer to play him at left back this weekend if Rodgers isn't willing to throw Moreno straight in, ahead of Johnson. For me at left back it's so apparent how uncomfortable he is on the ball. Can see him being a liability there and will give the ball away trying to go inside predictably or just hacking it down the line. Would rather Enrique for Saturday myself. Clearly Moreno will soon take over. But thoughts on this position for Saturday? Cheers Nonzy
