Many of you have waited 30 years for this moment, personally I've never seen us win the league until this day.
We've supported the team through thick and thin, we've endured many years of misery under horrendous leadership in Tom and George. As a club we grouped together and showed that perseverance and loyalty will prevail come the end. We gave hope and showed the entire sporting world that the many are superior to the select few who are fortunate to run our great clubs.
Many of us criticised FSG, myself included. Some of us criticised there spending habits and their ambition, however we have all been dished a slice of humble pie. We can't thank the owners enough for their work on and off the pitch. John and co have delivered a team who will be able to deliver for 5 years and beyond, with back room staff to match.
I would like to thank everybody associated with the club for making mine and many others dreams finally becoming a reality, rather than a reoccurring dream.
I can't put into words my gratitude to Jurgen, he's gone above and beyond for our great club. He appreciates the values and principles that we hold ourselves to (bar a select few, like every club has to endure) he truly understands the value of life and values everyone the same regardless of status or wealth. I hope he stays for many years to come.
I hope to see as many of you at the parade as possible.
Enjoy this moment and may the 96 have a parade of an eternity.
