Hi all,
Just wanted to have my say on the Rodgers saga.
I would love klopp to be the next manager first and for most but for some reason I can't see it happening. The next in the list would be Carlo but why would we get someone like him for the short term? And in another 3 or so years we would need another young manager, therefore we will be in the same position (who's up the next manager). Another one to add to the list of FDB but do we really need that up and coming manager now?
I feel we need that proven manager who will stick with us for the long term, I just hope FSG appoint the right man for the job (klopp for me)
Rodgers only has himself to blame, he's spent a lot of money as we know and still plays people out of position! I could go on forever about the mess Rodgers has done but I will look at the positives which is we have a very strong sqaud and could easily make the top 4 and maybe push on even more, that's if we play the correct formation and the correct players in their preferred positions.
Sorry for the long message, I would like to thank Macca & the eds for the work you put into this site as we all know you take some stupid comments and crap from other fans.

Whilst the thought that BR will soon be gone is a mouthwatering prospect I can't help but wonder about a state of affairs in which Macca's source knows that win, lose or draw, BR will be gone and BR doesn't.
Clearly that is a decision made by FSG in America with only Ian Ayre and Mike Gordon aware of it over here. Surely neither they nor the FSG hierarchy would casually let this information slip.
The other possibility is of course that BR is already aware and he remains at the helm until FSG appoint a successor who they will surely already have had discussions with.
Neither alternatives sound plausible to me.
Fingers crossed that we are not building up our hopes only to be disappointed.

Another good podcast by the way.
Hate to be negative but I'm not feeling confident at all for us tomorrow.
I hope Can, Firmino & Sakho start
Let's hope I'm wrong and we can take something away from tomorrow's game.

I agree with you. Those three on, and Skrtel, Ibe, Lallana on bench. Same time, I simply cannot see BR breaking up a winning team. As for score, I think 3 - 0 gunners. I am a pessimist by nature though, so maybe 2 - 0 more likely

Yeah I feel we could try Lovren/Sakho at the back. If Hendo passes his fitness test then it will be the same team 100% on that.
I'll stick to me 2-1 :) With Benteke scoring for us

Hi Eds/All,
Long time viewer (posted a few times before).
What are you views on Emre Can? Should he be in the starting 11?
Just thinking for our next game not many people have mentioned him but would you start Danny Igns along side Benteke? (just off him, i think it could be a good idea)
I've signed up for the site and will post on a regular basis :)

Hi Ed,
You think he is fit and ready? A lot of sources saying he's not 100% yet :) So you think it should be Firmino & Benteke upfront? or Firmino just behind?
I also forgot to say good work on the Podcast - realy enjoyed it !

{Ed001's Note - I would still start him and take him off when he tires, he will get fit quicker by playing than he will by watching. I would have Firmino behind, but give him the freedom to push further up if there is space there.

Strange gut feeling he may go with Ings though myself. Either way I'm itching to pull the scarf out and get down there it's been a long summer

No problem ed :) I think this is the best team (options/depth) we've had for a few years. Hopefully we can get in the top four or even fight for the title this year.
What ever the team is we should all support the players. Yes we all have our opinions on the x11 and the manager/staff but I have a feeling we will do well this year.
I rate ings very good player he reminds me of criag bellamy, hopefully he has better behavior ! :)
