Eds,
You mentioned that we approached Mandzukic's agent. Are we planning to make an approach to Athletico or has our interest dwindled?

Do we have any interest in Higuain? There is not a lot reported thus far but I have a feeling he might move this window.

If Balotelli stays, will we enter the market for another forward or stick with what we have?

Thanks for your work Eds.

Levans

{Ed002's Note - (a) I am pretty sure Mandzukic won't be moving to Liverpool. (b) Not at this time. (c) If he ends up staying then I would not think so.}

Hi Eds.
Ricardo Rodriguez has been linked with us in a deadline day swoop.
Any truth in it?

Levans

{Ed002's Note - He is being hawked around but everyone sees the asking price as too high.}

Eds,

Salah for 7 million pounds? I thought he would cost a little more than that. I know you don't like to talk money, but I thought he would have cost us at least 12 million? If we do get him in for only 7, I think that would be great business. Intelligent player who would fit into our system perfectly.

Levans

{Ed002's Note - There is really no point in discussing the money due to the confusion it will cause. Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Liverpool, Dortmund, Spurs and Fiorentina have shown an interest in Mohamed Salah, and Basel will look to sell in January. The player says Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea are the three clubs he would consider - would doubt his wish would be granted.}

Hi Eds,
Are you aware of any recent news regarding Turan and have we shown any interest in him at all?

Also.I had a look at Cissokho's positioning over the past couple of games and it would seem that he plays wider and further up the pitch than Enrique. If we are unable to bring in a left winger, does Cissokho have any experience in providing cover on the wing? I know that he is injured but expected to make a speedy return. {Ed002's Note - There is nothing new at this time.}

Hi Eds,
With our documented interest in Eriksen, where would that leave Coutinho and Henderson if Eriksen arrived in the summer?

In my opinion, Coutinho is doing a great job. Gerrard is still a guaranteed first team choice and Hendo is a great box to box runner.

if Eriksen did arrive, will we be looking to offload anyone?

Thankyou in advance. {Ed002's Note - I think it unlikely that Eriksen will be arriving in the summer but it would be adding depth rather than impacting other players.}

I wouldn't get too hung up on attacking depth.

We now have Markovic, Sterling, Lallana, Coutinho, Suso and Ibe to play anywhere accross the front three. The same players can form part of our attacking midfield options too.

We also have Sturridge and Lambert to play through the centre.

Borini will be replaced if he moves to Sunderland. (Bony or Lavezzi)

Very clever business from Liverpool in purchasing players that can play in different roles.

I just hope that a couple of the youngsters are given a chance too this year.

I would like to see more of Ibe and Suso.

With the amount of young, fast, attacking talent. I am looking forward to us creating a superstar. We do not need to go out and buy 1. He already plays for us.

Please give me your thoughts on this everyone + Eds.

We will be playing Champions League football next year and we will be among the best. We will need good players to come in during the next window to provide quality and depth.

BR is currently getting the best out of our current squad who have a genuine desire to play for Liverpool.

How many players will it take to upset our squad in terms of morale and that genuine desire? Ill explain. Tottenham for example. They had 9 players transfer in which upset the squad which was a factor in their demise. Would 4 transfers be too much?. or would it be better if we get 2 or 3 quality players?

So, the real question is. If we have a little bit of money to spend on quality, how many NEW players would be JUST RIGHT without upsetting our current squad?

And whatever number comes to mind.What positions do you think we should rein-force.

I'm going with 2 - LB and RB. That would be enough for me. 2 quality wing backs to push us forward into the Champions League.

You?

Hi Eds,

Any news on when we can expect Torres to return?

I heard about it on Twitter so its got to be true.

We could play him off the bench in the Carling Cup next year?

Haha.

Henderson's passing game is off today but I think he has one of the best first touches in the prem.

Eds.
There are a couple of posts relating to a potential signing and I feel like we might be in for a bit of luck with bringing someone in over the next couple of days.

To your knowledge, has anything changed over the last day because prior to that most people were seemingly confident that we were not going to secure anyone's services?

Thanks for your hard work.

Levans

{Ed002's Note - I never said that.}
