Hi eds . Why are we messing about with transfer targets when they aren't particularly expensive (salah) and letting other teams just come in and take them, I still believe we will be in the top 4 but now there is a lot of pressure on just sturridge and suarez to get us there. Also are we looking at any big powerful midfielders as that is clearly what is needed as the midfield got bullied at Chelsea and City. Keen for a reply eds . Great site
{Ed002's Note - It is value for money constrained by the money available. Money has gone on players that the manager seems to have no intention of playing (e.g. Aspas, Ilori and Aberto) all of which are well respected and now are filling in those fringe positions that were occupied by the likes of El Zhar and Degen. This doesn't help - and sucked more that £20M in transfer fees and half as much again in add ons (tax, agent fgees, relocation, signing in on fees and wages). Big and powerful? I really don't know.}
