Not a rumour as such, but if it's true Xabi Alonso is close to leaving Real Madrid surely if we made a bid he would choose us over anyone else. He is still a fantastic footballer n just what we need, and I'm sure any LFC fan would welcome him back with open arms - what are your thoughts Eds? - ps great site my first ever post!
