Hi Eds, All this talk about Lavezzi the guy is over the hill can't last 90 minutes. Cheaper option with Brendan's connections with Reading and Northern Ireland at around £6mill is young Connor Wickham. Scored some great goals when recalled by Sunderland against top opposition towards the end of last season. Bit of a rough diamond but someone to develop. Any interest Eds?

What a master stroke LFC signing Ballotelli, excellent signing which will have the rest of the Premiership sides quaking in their boots. All the noise about his character is nonsense, Brendan will sort that out as he did with Sturridge & Sterling, get him firing on all cylinders. Ed's any chance of following this up with Alex Song who I believe is available and would be another excellent addition to what has been a brilliant Summer transfer window.
