Not sure what the situation with Thomas Müller of Bayern is but it seems to me that he would be an ideal replacement for Luis albeit not quite the same style of play. From what I have seen he spends most of his time the bench at bayern and is not Guardiola's fitsy choice. He can play anywhere across the front or play as an attacking midfielder. He is creative works his socks off for the team and best of all he is consistent. Surely worth a shout?
