Salah should not play in the wing (s) anymore. He always wants to cut onto his left and never takes the oponent on the right becaus his right foot is useless. That's why I think he should play in the middle, where he will have more space there.

We don’t have anyone else to play on the right because somebody in their infinite wisdom decided the best way to balance the squad would be to have 6 senior forwards but only one who can play on the right hand side.

trent either right wing in a 4, or wing back in a 5

Salah has always done that. He has no right foot. Look at the number of times he passes or crosses with the outside of his left.
He and Nunez can be very good together but I'm not convinced by Gakpo's movement, or lack of it, yet. At least his shooting has improved ?.
