So apparently Qatar hasn't had the supporter turn out for the World Cup that it had hoped for, so has allegedly hired people from Pakistan to act as supporters of certain nations in promotional videos. Here is a video showing it.

It’s all over the net they are paying locals to support teams etc the thing is a sham stadiums will be full but with locals not other nationalities! I hope it’s a disaster for fifa!

No idea if fans are fake. But Qatar has a sizable population from Kerala, India. Those guys are football nuts. Given that India is not very good at football, they have a national team that they follow ardently. The villages in Kerala are literally painted in Brazil and Argentina colours during the world cup.
