This season is really going to be close and I think a lot of teams are going to be dropping points you wouldn't expect them to drop. already happened to the usual top 6 teams Us, City, Chelsea. Spurs and Arsenal will drop points at some point enjoy the ride!

It will be close for the top four but I think will run away with it, Harland is the game changer for them unfortunately. Top 4 and a cup for us would be decent.

I’ve said for months that the WC in the middle will have a say in how this season shapes up. There will be a lot of odd results I reckon - in fact I’d say we’ve already seen a few really. They always say it’s a marathon not a sprint but I reckon it will turn into a a sprint once the season restarts - the key is to be in the leading pack at that point!

We better just focus on top 4, simple as that really. Chelsea game in a couple weeks already looking massively important but right now I can’t even see is beating Wolves. Tottenham and Arsenal looks a lot stronger than last year and can see both them and City in there so right now seems between us, United and Chelsea. It’s hard to believe after all our success over the last few years we won’t snap out of this and show our quality but we look so so bad atm that a few more weeks like this and we leave an uphill battle this early in the season.

Joshkel, what does ‘just concentrate on top 4’ mean? Surely we just try and win every game we play like every other season and see where we end up?

Other teams are dropping points. We’ve been on the back foot caused by injuries, lack of investment in the squad, loss of form of several key players - is motivation a factor, perhaps?

Footy fan it means we need to stop thinking and Playing like it’s our god given right to be the only challengers to City and them being the only side we focus on. We are miles away and need to be looking at the pack below them as we are definitely not going to win the league this year.

Joshkel91, We are 5 points away from City and 6 points away from Arsenal in first place with only 6 games played. If that is us being miles away then what would be a 14 point deficit after 21 games be? Get a grip, will ya?

Enuff with the doom and gloom/ OTT reactions just cos you didn’t get the result you wanted. We did not deserve to win the games we haven’t won and that’s it. Time to back the team and hope things get better and that they improve as a team and get on with it.
