Eds I have a question for you, bit of a strange one. Couple of paper reports saying Barcelona are offering coutinho to us in return for wiping an outstanding £40 million still owed on the fee we agreed on him.
My question is haven't we had the full fee paid by now? Pretty sure they paid up all of it.

Barca could look to sell Coutinho to effectively fund the outstanding payment to the third party (if there is a residual debt) . Let’s assume $40mil is owed (not saying this figure is correct, could be much less or much more) and they are willing to sell him for this amount this represents a huge decrease in value for a player that cost close to $100mil not long ago.
