Morning everyone. Whilst trying to stay positive it is very worrying that over just a few weeks we have lost 8 more points than City. We were 7 points clear and with a better goal difference. Obviously, we are now 1 point adrift.

Now this is certainly not all over by a long way, but it's a negative trend for sure.

Over the season many posters were coming on here saying how we were picking up points even though our performances on the whole were below par, and just wait until things clicked. Well with only 9 games to go our performances have not improved, and away from home have gone down in terms of results.

Right now Liverpool are on the way to a very unwanted treble if we don't win the title this year - we will be the only team who topped the PL at Christmas and didn't go on to win the title. We have done this twice already.

I am really concerned now about the away game at BM, because we just can't seem to win away from home - especially in the CL.

It's obvious that Klopp has more or less sacrificed the 2 domestic cup competitions to concentrate on the PL and CL, but right now it looks like that strategy might not work.

For me, the major issue this season was losing Gomez, because since he has been out we have had to make changes to the midfield and the defence to try to cover. He will probably not play a game in March either.

When it really matters, we just don't seem able to get over the line, but I am hoping like hell that we can still do it this year.

We blew it in the transfer window. We should've seen the position we was in and Secured it with 2/ 3 top players.

Name these 2/ 3 top players? Then ask yourself how much would they cost in january then ask would the team sell these top players in january? C'mon this ain't fifa.

Exactly, Scousetim. People just make such blanket statements w/ o actually mentioning who these 2/ 3 players are, were they available? were we interested? Was the money there etc. Same old stuff all the time when we don't win. "We blew it in the last window". How did we do that? Cos Klopp did not do what you wanted, LiverpoolFC08? Get a grip, man.
