Anyone hoping to see Ox back soon. I think if he can make a couple of substitute appearances in the next couple of weeks, he could make a huge difference to our last couple of months of the season. I'm just hoping he can get to where he was before his injury as he was playing really well. It would also just give our opposition a bit more to think about.

If Bobby isn't fit enough to start tonight I'd like to see Shaq out on the right with Mo up top.

Fingers crossed for a much needed and important win. 1 game at a time fellow reds. Enjoy the game and enjoy the moment.

{Ed002's Note - He won't be playing in the next couple of weeks.}

It'll be after the international break for Ox and even then he'll need to play a game or two for the U23s first. Maybe okay for the bench vs Spurs march 31 but hopefully 100% ready for the trip to St. Mary's the following weekend and of course right after that the Champion's league Quarter-finals first leg on 9/ 10 April.

Love all of the thumbs down!? Express an opinion and it's just poo poo'd. I suppose it's unlikely as Ed says that he'll be back in the next couple of weeks I just feel we could do with something a bit different at the moment, just something to sharpen up top a bit, that's all.

Maybe a few games in a row could do us good. I just hope we can keep winning until the end.

fingers crossed.

OP, I see your point BUT we need to chill out with the whole Ox thing. He won't step foot on the pitch of Anfield until he is ready and that would include constant training sessions and seeing how his knee react to it, games with the reserves and all that. Let's let the kid recover fully and then we can welcome him back cos in the end, we have to do what is best for him if we want him to be as effective as he was before his injury.

Exactly. We'd be very naive to expect him to come into these high intensity games and be right on it. Would be harmful for his confidence if fans got on his back then for not being up to it, too much on the line to be throwing him in. Give the lad a full pre season to start showing his value to the squad.
