Kepa isn’t in the same stratospheric as Allison never mind in the same league. Thought Chelsea defended brilliantly but didn’t think kepa was great.

I wouldn’t say a bargain, we got what we payed for, more a case of Chelsea’s car crash transfer policy resulting in a panic buy. He may still turn out to be good but for the money they paid i’d be wanting a De Gea, Neuer or Oblak, not some kid nobody had ever heard of.

He's one of the best shot stoppers out there and still very young. I think Alisson is the better keeper but Kepa will be still be very good.

There are plenty if players with an excellent reputation but they aren’t the most expensive in their position in world football. Like i say i’m sure he has talent, i’m just not sure spending that amount of money on somebody so young and unproven was very wise. But hey it worked with Buffon i guess, what do i know!

Andy Carroll + 15m was what we wanted for Torres, apparently. we coulda got him for £5m! 😉😂.

{Ed0333's Note - yes but the point is we were the idiots that paid the fee to Newcastle. It was a move stinking of desperation after Llorente and others had said no to us. £5 million would have been too much for that guy.

Ed025. who's the expensive dud then, Grucic was only 5 mil. So dud yes expensive not really. Klaven did the job he was bought to do. Unless your thinking of one from this season, Fabinho got off to a slow start but is settling nicer now, but Naby is concerning me with some very abject displays, but we know there is a great player in there if not consistent yet.

{Ed025's Note - grugic and klavan only cost buttons so i wont include them, naby is a quality player mart and im a big fan of his work he will come good im sure, fab i seen quite a bit of at monaco and was not a fan then and nothing he has done this season has changed that, but its only my opinion of course mate..
