Just seen the line-up no Gomez is he injured and matip is his replacement God help us. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

I think it's possible for matip to get better. Klopp has improved so many players so why not Joel. Kept a clean sheet so he can't have done that bad.

I thought Matip has a decent game today. Pretty much faultless apart from the incident where Van Dijk had to run in and block the shot that was on Matip's side. I do like how he comes out with the ball from the back too. It's is clear why he's also been played in the DM role before.
