Hi Gents,

After your thoughts, CEO Peter Moore has mentioned the club will try to look for the next Mohammad Salah when talking about transfers.

If you were in charge of the club, with your extensive knowledge of the game a long with insight into player talents.
Who would 'you sign' if you had 1 player to choose from that has been legitimately linked with us and why?

They may not be the next Mo Salah but if you believe the player could produce a 'significant' positive impact to the club and would be a bloody good purchase. Providing obviously they settle to the change of environment and injuries are all good.

I am not sure we have been legitimately linked but Oblak would be the choice for me.

It has been a long time since we have had a top quality keeper and as you have seen with United, they are worth a lot of points.

It would also make the defence more confident and improve the team massively.

Assensio would be our most significant signing imo. Added to our current team and new recruits 8 think we would be close 2nd favourites for the league. I think we'd win it no doubt. He's that good. Pure class player whom klopp would turn into a true no10 or attacking mid. I really hope it happens, he's young and could trigger another decade of dominance.
