It's not the end of the world that we lost, we'll get a bit of stick from rival fans, so too will Karius, but who cares? We showed throughout the competition that we are a force to be reckoned with.

The positives to take out of this are that we will learn from this experience, build on it and hopefully come back stronger. We've already got 1 addition coming in the summer, who looks a real talent. Hopefully we can add more to that and give it another real go.

I'd like to also say that I don't personally hold anything against Karius. I'm sure he knows how stupid the mistakes were. The important thing is, assuming he's kept on for next season as #1, we should support him 100. He's only 24 after all and playing in his first Champions League final.

As the captain said after the game. "We win together, we lose together".
We are Liverpool. It's been an amazing journey. The games I've seen at anfield this year have been some of the best I've ever seen. Next season will be even greater. Let's stand behind our boys. I'm proud YNWA.

He's not good enough simple as. If it was mignolet he'd be crucified. He had hands like crisp bags.

Most sensible post of the evening. Exactly my thoughts. Bravo hsf, I hope regardless of the result, you've had a good night mate.

Your assumption about him being kept as number 1 is a head scratcher having watched his last game. He is not a kid and shouldn’t be making mistakes like that at any level let alone 2 in a final and they were both very different mistakes which says to me he is way out of his league. He didn’t do them deliberately obviously so abuse to him is very wrong. Klopp will move him on and by doing so will for once admit he’s dropped a bollock.

Fraid not mate, I don’t mind no much that we lost because I wasn’t expecting to win, but the bearing in mind we would have been at 1-1 without our best player were it not for two absolute world class howlers, I think we can be a little annoyed about the manner of the loss. I think Karius had improved a lot but the jury was still out and after a performance like that on the biggest stage, I just don’t see a way back for him. His nerves will be shot to bits. The difference between being a good player and a great player is consistency. Karius has proven himself to another Migs IMO. Capable of great saves and unimaginable mistakes. I’d prefer Butland at this point.

Agreed, this should be Karius' last game for us. He'll have those two cock ups with him forever so we need to move him on. I've supported him till now but GK is the position that's holding us back I'm afraid so we need to get in the best man for the job before we can take the next step up.

Who do you get though? Bomb out Mignolet and Karius? Have you seen much of Butland lately? He hasn't looked so hot since he came back from injury. Take a look at the goal he conceded against League 2s Coventry to see Stoke out of the cup and Hughes out of a job.
