Have you heard anything in regards to liverpool interest in youri tielmans eds.

REDMICK

{Ed002's Note - There isn't any.}

1.) 10 Apr 2017 16:56:33
Cheers ed002 just read an article and thought I'd ask the people in the know but one thing that boy can hit a ball when he hits it it stays hit.

{Ed002's Note - If he moves to England it would be Spurs. Roma and Milan are also interested but I suspect Monaco will strike a deal.}

2.) 11 Apr 2017 03:54:06
lets hope he bags a couple on Thursday.

3.) 12 Apr 2017 17:02:45
The lad can definitely shoot. But is he up to the mark defensively? Read a couple of scout reports that said he lacks ability in the final third and doesn't get most of his tackles right. Surely won't fit our system then. Even though its a moo point but still, thoughts?

27 Mar 2017 15:15:27
Afternoon eds would max meter be an option for liverpool if counting left and what's your opinion on the player. thank you in advance.

REDMICK

{Ed002's Note - Potentially but he is not the preferred choice. Max Meyer does however fit the bill of a young attacking midfield player which prompted previous bids from Chelsea (who would have sent him on loan for one season before integrating him in to the squad) and Fiorentina in 2014. Schalke 04 do not want to sell the player and made it clear to Spurs and Milan who were showing an interest this past summer that any move was unlikely - going as far as turning down an offer of €47M. The player has shared his desire to play in Spain with Real Madrid or Barcelona or to play in England. Other sides such as Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Arsenal watched him last season but had no real interest. If Liverpool were to lose Coutinho and/or Firmino he could be a player they may look to. Spurs remain interested.}

1.) 27 Mar 2017 16:05:37
Ed you say if firminho were to leave is there interest in him if so who? Be the one player id hate to see leave thanks ed.

{Ed002's Note - Not at this time.}

2.) 27 Mar 2017 16:57:00
Cheers ed002 sorry for the damn auto correct meyer and coutinho. in your opinion would he be a good fit for liverpool.

{Ed002's Note - Not as good as the first pick but if he has seen the trashing he has had from the Liverpool fans already he wouldn't want to join in any case.}

3.) 27 Mar 2017 17:30:14
Cheers Ed but who is the first pick if coutihno were to leave?

Another thing, are timo werner and ginter targets

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - It is unrelated to Coutinho - Liverpool want to by a left wing.}

4.) 27 Mar 2017 19:23:07
First pick being Brandt right?

5.) 27 Mar 2017 17:26:15
A tip from an experienced man. Why don't people use the European Soccer site for all the random names. Trust me it's actually the best site of all these football rumours sites. Nice colour and well managed like a library, primarily used by United fans. Throw a name and Ed02 may answer!

6.) 27 Mar 2017 20:47:40
If Brandt is the first choice I'd be quite happy. He's a talented lad who will only get better.

7.) 28 Mar 2017 15:21:25
Who is the first pick you speak of ed to replace Coutinho if he leaves?

8.) 28 Mar 2017 16:32:18
Guys listen to Ed02 sharkopod he did them for a reason :)

22 Dec 2015 19:51:10
Have Liverpool taken a look at or have they any interest in Lucas moura.

REDMICK

{Ed002's Note - PSG may well be willing to let Moura move on as he has not settled that well in France - but whether they would be willing to do so in January is not clear. An attempt was made to strike a deal for Lucas Moura to make a return to Sao Paulo on loan in January 2015, but PSG pulled the plug as discussions dragged on. Juventus had declared interest if he becomes available but baulked at the €40M asking price they were given. Spurs and Liverpool did manage to scout him recently, although he has been starting from the bench a lot this season. His agent has spoken to Arsenal about him but I don't know if they would be interested.}

1.) 23 Dec 2015 03:25:03
Cheers ed for the reply and have a great Christmas.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome Mick - enjoy your holidays.}

2.) 23 Dec 2015 14:35:09
Lucas Maura would be a class signing imo. Very direct and very very pacey.

Eds is there any chance we could sign firmino

REDMICK

{Ed002's Note - No.}

29 May 2014 06:32:44
Eds could Liverpool switch attention back to firmino if lallana deal looking less likely or has that ship sailed. Imagine firmino shaqiri can lovren and moreno now that would be a great summer thanks in advance YNWA JFT96

REDMICK

{Ed002's Note - I think you can put thoughts of Firmino aside for now.}

1.) Yeah imagine that, an unwanted sub, a player that hardly anyone has actually seen play and a centre back with one season in the prem. Dreams are made of this!

Question for ed002 if I may with an attacking midfielder looking unlikely (fekir) do you think taa could be used in this position this season. A new Stevie g if you like. Thanks in advance sir.

REDMICK

{Ed002's Note - I would noyt think there is any chance of that at all.}

1.) 02 Aug 2018 18:02:49
I think for now, he should earn his stripes at right back. He’s got time to learn the defensive sides which will help in long run, and hopefully improve his attacking play too. Maybe he will stay there, maybe not!

2.) 02 Aug 2018 18:11:59
More likely Keita takes on that role, or perhaps Shaqiri or Lallana. We have plenty of options without taking away our best RB IMO.

3.) 02 Aug 2018 18:58:32
Whilst I do think in the long term Trent will move into midfield he should be kept rb for the near future he is gaining excellent experience.

4.) 02 Aug 2018 19:33:06
Stevie g only played rb a handful of times. I think the longer trent plays rb the more that is how he will be viewed, especially after playing for England in that role.

I've seen him play in midfield once and he wasn't that great. Not bad but not amazing. If he's going to make the step to midfield it should be done soon if not then rbs are just as important as a Ms and he will probably end up one of the best rbs around.

5.) 02 Aug 2018 20:08:59
He is playing regularly at RB, and that’s what he really needs. We are already over run with midfielders and can’t see him pushing any of the starters out for game time. Keep him at RB for me.

6.) 02 Aug 2018 20:44:58
Stevie G? Chill out, OP. You're getting ahead of yourself, my friend. As for TAA, he is playing right back right now and still has a lot to learn and prove as a footballer so he should be left there to learn the game and when the time is right, he will make the transition IF transition there needs to make.

{Ed025's Note - good sense there brover..

27 Jul 2018 22:07:33
Ed002 heard any update on the fekir situation mate since your last response and do you know if lfc and Lyon are still talking. Thanks in advance.

REDMICK

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of them talking since the issue over the money. Lyon has spoken to others but right now there are no takers as far as I know.}

1.) 28 Jul 2018 00:58:43
Seems worrying how hard they are trying to get rid.

2.) 28 Jul 2018 01:13:41
Thanks ed, clear and concise info as usual.

3.) 28 Jul 2018 01:29:12
Thank you ed002 much appreciated.

4.) 28 Jul 2018 02:05:55
ED002

Thanks for your response re Fekir.
A journo asked Klopp a question yesterday about Fekir, his response was;
"Its probably done, but there's 2 weeks to go, if nothing happens to my players then all good, if something does then you need to react, if not now then next year"

Appreciate your thoughts in retrospect to Klopps comments.
Obviously its very hard to predict something as we don't have crystal balls, BUT, do you possibly see this TV series of Fekir continuing until the last day, is the ball in Lyons court atm or is it the reverse?

If a creative Liverpool midfielder were to get injured in pre season for a few months do you see this triggering Liverpool to go back in for Fekir?

In addition not a question but a statement, a day ago, not sure if you're aware but the Liverpool owners wife on social media liked an in individuals comment stating that FSG's transfer business has been great and Fekir were to be completed it would be icing on the cake.
Many Pool fans got excited over this, wonder if it means anything.

Thanks Ed.

Tommy T.

{Ed002's Note - It has been clear that Klopp has had no idea about the GKs and it is clear something needs to be done.

I cannot help about the owner's old lady liking stuff on Twitter or Facebook.}

5.) 28 Jul 2018 03:12:41
I don’t understand why people keep asking the Ed’s to interpret Klopps comments, surely you can do that for yourself.

6.) 28 Jul 2018 05:58:41
agreed Kramer, if there's one thing we know about Klopp is that what he says to the press and what he does with regard to players are 2 very different things. People need to not read too much into it.

7.) 28 Jul 2018 06:32:13
Klipperty is cryptic in somewhat the same way as WDS! Have we solved the mystery?

8.) 28 Jul 2018 09:23:56
Could it be that we have unmasked sparky as really being klipperty.

9.) 28 Jul 2018 10:49:26
Definitely think we should continue to get the unwanted players off the books as soon as possible and see where we are after. Gut feeling, I think Fekir will still happen. If not now, then in January. He is icing at this point, think we have done better business than any other club as of now and I think we have the squad to win the league.

Anyone any update on how Sean Cox is doing all seems to have gone very quite. Fingers crossed that he pulls through. YNWA sean and family.

REDMICK

1.) 24 May 2018 14:40:35
Last word was he was stable but in a coma and the family wanted privacy. I like to kid myself that the media have respected this wish rather than just gotten bored.

could firmino drop back into a 10 role behind werner.

REDMICK

{Ed002's Note - Sure, but bit of a kick in the gonads for Firmino so it might be a time to see how interested Bayern Munich are.}

Could you see ante coric as his replacement ed001 and would he be first team ready or even play a similar position. Haven't seen a lot of him to be honest but from what I've seen he looks a star in the making.

REDMICK

{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate, as far as I am aware I have not see him play.}

Ed002 why would they need to do that when he only signed a five year deal.

{Ed002's Note - If he really wants to go then it might be a compromise.}

I also think another issue with our play at the moment that nobody seems to mention is mane. He is constantly slowing down our breaks whether it be picking the wrong pass or dwadling on the ball. Thought salah looked much more of a threat yesterday than he did. Last year he moved the ball quickly before the opposition had time to get back into position now he just seems to be overplaying. Am I being harsh ed001/ posters or have you noticed this.
