The one big match I missed this year was Man U in which we lost in March. Can anybody tell me what exactly happened that day? I ask because this match build up feels similar. It feels as though Madrid are there to be destroyed because we have the players to exploit them. And yes, I know it's cl final and it's completely different but I can't help but feel we had the same quiet confidence going in and it is the one match all season I was surprised we lost.

I doubt if Madrid will pack the box like Manchester united. That plays into our hands and on the counter we play our best football.
I think this game will be a goal scoring dream. I can see it being 3-4 4-5 etc something mad.

Just hope we can come out on top with number 6 💪💪.

A young player made a couple of minor errors (which he since clearly learned from) and was badly punished, and a giant of a player physically bullied Lovren until VVD stepped in. Then a team run by the bus parking champion 10 years in a row parked the bus. No miracles, no narrative, we were much better most of the game but they took their chances adn then shut up shop.
