Not directly Liverpool related. But noticed Russia got a 22k fine for racist chants. I don't understand how they expect to irradicate racism with a fine like that. UEFA and FIFA are clearly taking the P.

That 22k fine should eradicate the problem lol, anyone think it will end up being a s**t will world cup? Build up, excitement just isn't there this time round, not to mention there'll probably ufc fight nights after every game😂.

England got a 35k fine for wearing poppies, Fifa need to sort it out big time.

It doesn't do much except maybe give the Russian FA a kick up the backside to at least TRY and do something about it, once they get enough fines.
The only thing they can really do is have more security or cameras in place and perma ban the guilty parties. It won’t stop it in the foreseeable future that’s for sure :/.

Russia have paid FIFA a lot of money not to be made an example of in legitimate World Cup fees. It's too late and I doubt they have the inclination to hand out any severe punishments at this stage.

This is Russia guys. If the state weren't fine with them doing the chants, they wouldn't be doing them. It's really that simple.
