I am hoping for city games to be like 16/ 17 season when we beat them at anfield 1-0 and drew at etihad 2-2 very open games.

Hope so! I'm interested to see if the styles vary in CL. I think first game at home suits us this time around.

I’ve always favoured 2nd leg away first, since the away goal rule came into play. If you are away first you never really know how adventurous you should be, as Utd found out against Seville. After a first leg at home, at least you know what you need to do in the away leg. The only downside is that, ad with Dortmund, the crowd can have a big effect.

Yes I agree the crowd can have an impact but from passionate fans of clubs like Dortmund and Liverpool. I can't recall a game where I was in aw of city's fans atmosphere.
