i have a really bad feeling our season is going to implode without another creative input to replace coutinho. yes we have the pace and shooting but we haven't much creativty. we need someone who can play that killer ball. vvd hasn't impressed whatsoever and i think pep played us a good one by pretending he was interested then getting his main target laporte. im feeling really nervous about spurs on sunday kane will tear lovren to shreds again then all of a sudden its crisis time. we are very vulnerable right now, moura could hit the ground running and we all know how good auba is. they could be enough to put spurs and arsenal above us. we really should have either forced couts to stay til the summer even if it meant putting him in the u23s until he ate humble pie or had a replacement lined up. let's hope im wrong but everything feels like its falling apart. klavan should be playing every game he is our best defender easily, henchoz the second. lovren, matip, moreno and migs need shipping asap, the latter have far outstayed there welcome. moreno was awful again against west brom. returning from i jury or not it was a disgrace. it really is make or break and i hope klopp knows what he's doing. it doesn't seem so though as he has blind faith in mediocre players. he needs to be cut throat, imagine fergie with them clowns we have as defenders? would, t have lasted a season. my support will never waiver and i hope im dead wrong but with these deadweights around our ankles and a midfield of headless chickens who run a lot not much more i fear the worst, 6th place and euro league football. klopp off to bayern and a new rebuild. please no.

Aubameyang is a good player, but he's also 29 and 100% reliant on pace. Without his speed he won't even be average. So they better hope he can avoid injury and at least then they'll get a couple of years out of him. He is also really disruptive though and has a shocking attitude. That signing could go either way to be honest.

Moura? Seriously? I'd rather sign Aaron Lennon. He has a better end product. Can add him to the list with Sissoko and Nkoudou of top class pacey players Spurs have signed in the last 2 seasons!

The only one of our rivals who i feel has strengthened, is Man United. Sanchez is awesome when he's up for it, and that salary will sure as hell motivate him! He only has 1 or 2 seasons left at his current level though and United have committed to paying him that wage for a long time beyond his peak years.

Arsenal are purely gambling on Auba getting his act together and even if he and Mkhitaryan both do just that, they will only just be as good combined as Sanchez was alone. They certainly won't have the same kind of inspirational attitude to the game that Sanchez had prior to this season. They'll coast as much as the rest of the squad do.

Chelsea have merely signed player to add excess depth. Barkley isn't good enough and Emerson is a good player, but won't take Alonso's place.

Spurs are set to sign a sprinter.

We on the other hand have sold Coutinho and replaced him with Mane who's missed most of the last year and is the superior left winger anyway. We've sold Sturridge and brought Ings back into the fold who is just as good. And we've added Van Dijk. If we can sign a midfielder or a goalkeeper before tomorrow evening I'll be delighted. I also won't throw in the towel if we don't!

Two bad results and everyone has lost their heads. Be mad about the results, sure. But don't write the bloody season off on January 30th for god's sake.

MK - interesting comment on Moura, on another site I just described him as Brazil's answer to Theo Walcott! Glad to know I'm not alone in this.

For Moura, read Chadli and Lamela.
