Would rather play with committed players than sulky little superstars who don't get their own way
Get what we can for the brat and move on as we have had to soooo many times before

To be fair to Coutinho, he hasn't been sulking. He didn't moan to the press or whine about being held back. It's not as though he refused to train or play for the team. Give him the benefit of the doubt for his back injury.

Read between the lines sibsama.
His "injury" happened when, just as Barcelona began bidding.
He uses a "family member" to criticise both the manager and the club on the same day he hands in a transfer request.
It's clear as day that he is sitting right and likely sulking right now due to yesterday's events but once they hit the magic number on the last day of the window we'll have to accept.

Everyone moans about the club always selling its best players and we won't win anything with that attitude etc, then when we stand firm and say we won't sell our best player and want to build a team around him, people still moan. Can't please some people I guess.
